Due to planned growth, we are seeking Senior Project Managers for two key Senior positions within our Upstream Group. The Origin Upstream Group is accountable for developing our existing hydrocarbon reserves and for the production of products to meet sales requirements. The role is located within the CSG Production Team based in Brisbane. From time to time site visits to the operating assets within Australia will be required.

Reporting to the Manager - CSG Projects, the Senior PM will provide Project Management leadership for assigned Projects within the CSG Origin Exploration and Production group. The job holder will apply mentoring, governance and leadership skills to the concept, design and implementation phases of the assigned projects to deliver on HSE, technical cost and schedule requirements and will lead a team of Project Engineers and other Project professionals to deliver CSG Projects.

A demonstrated background in Project Management Capability over 10 years with experience in onshore oil and gas, chemical or minerals processing coupled with tertiary qualifications in Engineering in either Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical discipline will be the base to build this role on.

Further competencies required include excellent people skills and supervisory experience - able to lead, set goals and provide direction to teams; Good commercial exposure including administration of budgets and contracts; Thorough understanding of project justification and economics; Working knowledge of Petroleum Regulations, Environmental Regulations and Cultural Heritage and Native Title Legislation; and Strong HSE skills.
